【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsincludemostofthetestmethodsthatareconsideredimportanttocharacterizenonrigidvinylchloridepolymertubing.Whiletheyweredevelopedinitiallyforthistypeofextrudedtubing,theiruseisnotlimitedtothistypeoftubing.Variationsinthesetestmethodsoralternatecontemporarymethodsmaybeusedtodeterminethevaluesforthepropertiesinthisstandardprovidedsuchmethodsensurequalitylevelsandmeasurementaccuracyequaltoorbetterthanthoseprescribedherein.Itistheresponsibilityoftheorganizationsusingalternatetestmethodstobeabletodemonstratethiscondition.Incasesofdispute,thetestmethodsspecifiedhereinshallbeused.Note28212;Provisionforalternatemethodsisnecessarybecauseof(1)thedesiretosimplifyproceduresforspecificapplicationswithoutalteringtheresult,and(2)thedesiretoeliminateredundanttestingandusedatageneratedduringmanufacturingprocesscontrol,includingthatgeneratedunderStatisticalProcessControl(SPC)conditions,usingequipmentandmethodsotherthanthosespecifiedherein.Anexamplewouldbetheuseoflasermicrometersoropticalcomparatorstomeasuredimensions.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthetestingofgeneral-purpose(GradeA),low-temperature(GradeB),andhigh-temperature(GradeC)nonrigidvinylchloridepolymertubing,oritscopolymerswithothermaterials,foruseaselectricalinsulation.Forthepurposeofthesetestmethodsnonrigidtubingshallbetubinghavinganinitialelongationinexcessof100%atbreak.Note18212;ThesetestmethodsaresimilarbutnotidenticaltothoseinIEC60684x2013;2.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard,exceptfortemperature,whichshallbeexpressedindegreesCelsius.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:Procedure
