【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoverstheselectionanduseoftestmethodsforhigh-performanceinteriorarchitecturalwallcoatings(HIPAC)thatdifferfrommoreconventionalcoatingsbybeingtougher,morestain-resistant,moreabrasion-resistantand,ordinarily,designedtobeappliedtowallsurfacesofsteel,masonry(pouredconcrete,concreteblock,orcinderblock),andplasterorgypsumwallboard.Theteststhatarelistedinaredesignedtomeasureperformanceproperties.ThesetestsmaynotallberequiredforeachHIPACsystem.Selectionofthetestmethodstobefollowedmustbegovernedbyexperienceandtherequirementsineachindividualcase,togetherwithagreementbetweenthepurchaserandtheseller.1.2High-performancearchitecturalcoatingsaretough,extra-durableorganiccoatingsystemsthatareappliedasacontinuous(seamless)filmandcuretoahardfinish.Thefinishcanbehighgloss,semigloss,orlowglossasdesired.Thesecoatingsareresistanttopersistentheat,humidity,abrasion,staining,chemicals,andfungusgrowth.Theyareusedinareaswherehumidity,wear,orunusualchemicalresistancerequirements,particularlytosoiling,arerequiredandwherestrongdetergentsareusedtomaintainsanitaryconditions.Hallsandstairwaysinpublicbuildings,lavatories,stallshowers,lockerareas,animalpens,andbiologicallaboratoriesaretypicalapplications.Inaddition,foodprocessingplants,dairies,restaurants,schools,andtransportterminalsfrequentlyuseHIPACsystems.Theseareeffectiveinmanyareasofbuildinginteriorscomparedwithtileandareoflowmaterialsandmaintenancecosts.Theyareusedasacompletesystemonlyasrecommendedbythemanufacturersincetheindividualcoatsinasystemareformulatedtobecompatiblewitheachother.HIPACsystemsshouldbeappliedonlytoproperlypreparedsurfacessuchassteelormasonry,includingcinderblocksandcementblocks.Theycanbeappliedoverplasterandgypsumwallboard.Ordinarily,aprimeorfillcoat,ifrequired,ispartofthesystem.1.3Whiletheyareexcellentforwalls,HIPACarenotusuallyintendedforceilingsandfloors.Theywouldnotordinarilybeusedinhomes,althoughparentswithsmallchildrenmightwanttouseHIPACcoatingsonsomewalls.1.4Thetypesofresinordinarilyusedarethefollowing:epoxy-polyamide,two-package;polyester-epoxy,two-package;polyurethane,one-packageortwo-package.However,otherresintypesarenotexcludedprovidedtheycanmeettherequirements(performancespecifications)laiddownbythepurchaser.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,seethenotein7.6.
