【摘要】:Themeasuredaccelerometeroutputcanbeusedtocalculatetractionpropertiesofcombinedtire-vehiclesystemsforpassengercars,lighttrucks,andheavytrucksthroughuseofapplicablemethodsoftesting.Thispracticeisintendedtoachieveuniformityintestvehicleaccelerometeruseandinaccelerometersignalprocessing.Throughsuchusage,abasisformeaningfulcomparisonsoftestresultsfromdifferentsourceswillbeobtained.Thispracticeisnotapplicabletoaccelerometersusedindestructivetesting,suchasvehiclecrashtestsorvehiclevibrationmeasurements.1.1Thispracticecoversguidelinesforusingaccelerometersintestvehiclestoevaluatedynamicaccelerationsresultingfromvariousmaneuverssuchasbraking,accelerating,orcornering.1.2Thispracticeisapplicabletoaccelerometersthatarerigidlyattachedtothebodyofthetestvehicleorstabilizedtotheearth-fixedaxissystembymeansofagyroscope.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionsaregiveninSection6.
